Gather Your Supplies:
These are the supplies for this project:
- Felt sheets
- Embroidery thread
- Embroidery needle
- Scissors
Create your Felt Bookmarks:
Step 1: Cut two strips of your felt the size you want your bookmark to be. Next, cut out the felt shapes you want for your design.
Step 2: Sew your felt shapes onto one of the felt strips you cut out.
Step 3: Once you finish sewing your felt design into place, take your second felt strip place it on the back (to cover the back where your embroidery thread and back side stiches show) and sew along the edges to complete the bookmark.
Step 4: Gift to your teacher, friends, family, or keep it to enjoy yourself to mark your pages as you read! Enjoy!
