This poor Ostheimer Beggar can be used to recreate the legend of Martinmas together with Ostheimer's St. Martin and Horse figures (sold separately), but he can also portray many other characters in a scene or a story: an old man, a shepherd, or a weary traveler.
Handcarved and hand painted in Germany, this Beggar figure has movable arms with which to receive the cloak of kind St. Martin who who cut his cloak in two to protect the beggar from the cold.
